Facts about Elise

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 32010885
  • Hair: Unknown
Black & white tuxedo, short hair, female, born approx. 1/1/12, #11826

Elise was pregnant when she was found wandering in a Golden Hills alley; she moved into Rescue House foster care to nest for several weeks and then birth and raise her babies in safety.

Elise’s first focus was her kittens, making sure they didn’t miss any bit of care that a mother could provide. She was an attentive and vocal mom, always keeping a watchful eye on her babies and always letting them eat first and have the best. Now that they have reached independence, Elise is reclaiming that status herself and showing us what an adorable kitty is waiting for the right person. Elise greatly enjoys affection and will over in appreciation of you giving her pets and scritches, especially around her cheeks leading to behind her ears. She likes to be brushed, and will head-bump your legs, though Elise in general prefers to have her wishes respected for when it’s petting time and when she’d like a little time to herself (something she hasn’t had much of) and may assert that opinion with a nip to tell you so. She is interested in watching the world around her and is a keen observer. Elise’s playful side has been coming out, too; she’s still a young cat who likes her activity.

Elise does not like other cats and wants to be the only kitty in your life. She has not met dogs. An adult household without children would suit Elise best.

Elise took her job seriously and was a wonderful mother; now she’s blossoming into a sweet companion kitty who just wants her own loving human home. Will you give Elise the chance to show you how well she could blend into your life?

About Our Rescue Group...
