Aviva's Story...
Aviva is a very shy and reserved girl at 5-6 years old. She lets you know that she is cautious with new people. She gives out a little hiss to let you know that only loving and patient hands are privileged to be close to her. She is all meow and is as sweet as can be. Not a mean bone in her body. She enjoys small spaces that give her security. If you give her gentle ear rubs, you will discover she is a wiggleworm disguised as a feline. She gets along with other cats as long as the cats understand she is no party animal. She is the party attendee who takes a spot in a corner and observes what everyone else is doing. She does not want to be forced to be social. Give her some time and she is happy to take a spot on your lap. She does not need a canine companion but if her true forever comes with a canine, she asks that the canine be very calm around her. A home on the quiet side is her ideal place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aviva, a Las Vegas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
