Russell's Story...
Russell (Russ) is a very funny kitten. If you are looking to be entertained, he's your boy! Russ is adventurous, affectionate, and chatty. It is difficult to get a good picture of him because he is always rolling over and meowing if he thinks you're looking at him. He is a classic brown tabby with lots of brown, but he has some white on his chin and chest, and white toes on his back paws. Russ loves and plays with the other foster kitten in his foster home, and gets along great with the foster parent's personal cats and even the dog! Russ is just old enough to be past the curtain-climbing, pants-climbing stage, too. He's a charmer!

If you'd like to talk with the foster parent and learn more about Russell, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete the application at www.FORrescue.net to get things started! It isn't binding, it's simply a starting point. Thank you! Russell is foster in Huntsville, Alabama.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Russell, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
