Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Traci Jo was taken to the county shelter when her elderly owner was placed in a nursing home. This beautiful girl was scared and so dirty when we rescued her that we gave her a nail trim and bath on the back porch! She had a leg injury that was cleaned during her spay surgery and after only two days of anti-biotics, Traci was a new girl! Her 30 pounds look good on her 15-inch frame.
Traci Jo went from being very reluctant to walk on a leash to running around the yard in lead of the pack! For a 5 y/o girl, she plays like a pup! She must have been missing playtime and exercise with her elderly owner. Traci Jo interacts well with her pack mates and loves to wrestle. She has never acted possessive of any of the treasures the pack locates. She is a slow eater and is not aggressive about her food. Best of all is that as a middle aged girl, she has great house manners! She has not needed to be crated in her foster home.
Traci Jo enjoys being around people. She will cuddle with the best of them. She has asked me to find her a home where she can sleep on the big bed, but will understand if that is not possible. At least she is not a bed hog! Traci Jo will provide loving companionship to some lucky family!
