Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Ginger and I'm so happy you clicked on my picture. First thing you should know about me is I'm a really good girl The second is that while I'm mostly a pointer mix I also have a little bit of bully breed mixed in my genetics. I know because that's what people tell me. I've been passed over twice by adopters before they even met me. That's okay though because I deserved better than that.
People say I'm so good at walking on a leash. They are also surprised at how fast I've learned to sit and stay on command. They say I'm really smart but these people are so nice to me that I just want to be a good girl and make them happy. I love kids and even though I'm only a kid myself I am very gentle and loving to the tiny person that I live with.
I was left on the side of the road in a place with no houses near by. I don't know why but I sat there and waited for my people to come back....but they didn't. Then a nice lady pulled up and gave me food, let me ride in her car and stay at her house. She tells me she's going to find me an amazing home and that someone is going to love me so much that they will never leave me behind. I hope she is right.
XOXO Ginger
p.s I like other dogs and little humans too (kids)
Ginger is about 10 months old, she's spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is super smart and is house trained. She uses the doggie door and rides great in the car. She thinks baby gates are fun hurdles that we humans put up for exercise and amusement. However, she can't jump the taller metal gates. That's honestly the worst thing we have to say about her. She's just an all around great dog. She loves other dogs big and small.
Loving, gentle, playful and smart as a whip and eager to please are words that best describe Ginger. If your interested in adopting Ginger email Lauren@4theloveofpaws.org. Adoption fee is $100.
