My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well hello! My name is Bailey, and I am a sweet, friendly, laid-back, and affectionate declawed brown tabby Manx/ DSH mix gal with huge green "saucer" eyes who was born in October 2013. I'm a lap cat with a stubby tail who loves to rub all over my human mom so I can spread my pheromones and so she can hear that my purr motor sounds like a perking coffeepot!
If you're not familiar with the pleasures of owning a Manx mix kitty, please watch the attached 3-minute video because you'll fall in love with me before you even meet me! We may be short on tail, but we're long on personality.
I've been very happy in my home, but through no fault of my own, I find myself in the precarious predicament of needing a new family because my meowmy lost her job, is moving out of the country to help her son, and unfortunately, can't take me with her. I've been the only pet in my home, but I remember from being in my foster home years ago that I don't like other cats, dogs, or children because they scare me.
Although I'm really sad about losing my meowmy through distance (and vice versa), I need to move on and cheerfully anticipate my next family! We declawed kitties can be sensitive to new environments, and it often takes us awhile to adjust to our new "digs." I need to be an "only child" (with no kids, dogs, or other cats) in a quiet home with "empty-nesters" who will be patient with me until I feel "at home." In exchange, I promise to shower you with affection and be your forever lap kitty.
Won't you come meet me so I can bat my big green eyes at you and let you guess the decibels on my purr motor? I may even let you give my stubby tail a tweak! I'm pretty irresistible!
Bailey is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
