Patten's Story...
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Meet Patten! Patten comes from a very neglected life, were he was virtually just left to fend for himself. He has learned to begin to trust and seek attention from people again. This concept is very new to him still and he has no problem just doing his own thing. He is very low energy and very much enjoys his nap time. He will require a firm but fair leader, to be the confident, pack working pup he has become. Patten is currently with a professional trainer and has become a fantastic boy! He will come with private training for the new adoptive owners or fosters, as well as continued support. Patten knows basic obedience, potty trained and kennel trained to list a few of his wonderful attributes. Would be ok with older children that understand the rules, and boundaries.
Fee includes his neuter, current vaccinations, and his microchip. For an adoption application , visit http://spotsavespets.org/adoption-application-dogs/ or e-mail K9 Training at faithfuldogtraining@yahoo.com to meet Patten.

Don't feel you can adopt but want to help. We are always looking for reliable foster families.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patten, a Lucasville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Lucasville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Lucasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lucasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lucasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lucasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
