My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our Foxy girl! Foxy was on the euthanasia list at the county shelter for being fearful. She is only a puppy! She is a happy girl but appears to have been neglected and possibility abuse in her past. She will coward down at the least amount of noise or movement. She was clearly neglected at the very least - her coat was a mess with mats and filth. Foxy is a little girl at 35 lbs now, but of course SPR is excellent at putting weight on dogs that need a few pounds to be healthy. Once she knows you are not going to hurt her she just wants to be with you. Can't say she is housebroken yet, but of course these dogs are smart and catch on pretty quick. She is also a girl and they are quick learners about where to potty! She has some tummy issues, which can be from stress, lack of food or poor diet, so SPR has her on some medications to help with that. She does not fight the leash but is afraid to walk much. With work this little girl will be a great family member! If you have the ability to provide a forever loving home for this girl, start the process and when she is ready she will be yours! As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link: http://savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
