My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tyler. Tyler was rescued from the county shelter covered in ticks and filthy. His eyes appeared cloudy and filled with discharge. SPR could not turn away from a senior in need and in terrible shape. Tyler got to SPR and had the full service grooming experience! Ticks are gone and all his coat is soft and beautiful. Tyler is even in a foster home with another SPR senior and enjoying the life of retirement. Tyler has some eye issues that SPR is working to address. He is getting warm washcloth flushes everyday from his loving foster mom. Once the eye specialist has cleared him he will be ready to find that perfect INDOOR home to snuggle up at your feet. As a senior, Tyler is not too interested in playing with other dogs, but does enjoy a walk around the yard with his foster brother. He doesn’t mind a ride in the car either. If you are willing to wait for this boy to get through his eye treatments, you won’t be sorry! You can apply to be his forever home right now! Until then you can follow his progress on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SavingPawsRescue As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link: http://savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
