You may wonder, “Did they name her JOY for a reason?” YES!!!
This sweet wonderful girl is nothing but pure “JOY!”
We want to say she is a perfect dog, we can’t think of a single negative about this gem!
Joy came to us as a stray, she is microchipped and so we know she is a 4 year old Lab/Beagle mix, about 50 pounds, is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
Joy must have had a wonder life as she is so well adjusted, and has great manners! She seems to be quite a smartie too… as knows all of her basic cues.
When you get out her harness and leash, lookout!!! She does zoomies and jumps in the air and then waits by the door, knowing it is WALK TIME!!! Joy is a wonderful walker, loves to sniff and check out everything. When she meets other dogs she nods a friendly hello and continues on her way.
Joy does great with other dogs and cats. She is really most interested in her people….who ever they may be …… and she seems to love everyone. We think she will stick pretty close to you but would love a fenced yard for her so she can roam free. Her favorite outside activity is lounging
in the shade and sniffing all the scents!
Her favorite overall activity is BELLY RUBS!! Lots of BELLY RUBS!!
She is quiet and calm in the house, does well with her crate and we have yet to hear her bark. Because of her calm and quiet demeanor, she will do best with children over 10 years old.
She rides well in the car and watches out the window ……. checking out what is going on in the world.
She is potty trained, a great eater, a little sloppy with the water, and very generous with the kisses!
