Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, everyone! Little Molly here. They don’t really know much about my story because my paperwork is limited. All they do know is that I was on death row at the kill shelter in June with Polly. It’s not clear if she’s my daughter or my sister, but our paperwork says we’re both about 4-5 years old and our owner said we wouldn’t stay home, so she didn’t want us.
I don’t really know what all of that means. I just know we were both very sick with kennel cough when we first arrived and had a rough time at first. We’re finally feeling better now and warming up to all of the volunteers, who keep giving us lots of TLC. I’m a little more cautious than Polly, but I love the attention … and treats!
Now that we’re healthy enough, we will be going to the vet soon to get all of our shots and be spayed. We may find out how old we really are, too. Because of that, it will be a few weeks (late July) before we’re ready to go home, but we wanted to let the concerned volunteers at the shelter know where we are and how we’re doing.
When I am available for adoption, it would be great if Polly and I could be adopted together, but it’s not a must. We’re in kennels next door and seem to do OK, together or separately. You are welcome to go ahead and complete a foster/adoption application, if you’re interested now.
