Cheeky's Story...
SEE VIDEO ALSO ON THIS PAGE!

Meet Cheeky! She is either a Miniature Pinscher mix but is very likely a pure-bred Min Pin (we, in rescue just cannot prove that as we do not have papers on her). She is 10 yrs. old, overall healthy, and a FULL of life sweetheart! She recently received a clean bill of health and a dental cleaning. She is blind in one eye due to cataract. But do not let that fool you; she gets around just fine
(sudden movements do startle her though). She gets along well with other dogs and older kids who will not poke at her or try to play rough with her. She is living in a foster home and goes potty outside and is crate-trained. She even has a happy dance at feeding time! (see video). She loves to sleep and cuddle and would very much love to belong to a nice family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheeky, a Los Angeles Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
