Sally's Story...
Sally is a husky mix, black and white with blue eyes and small perky ears. She's about 6 yrs old and 40 lbs. She is very sweet, calm and reserved but friendly..She really likes people and enjoys attention. She is good on a leash, and will enjoys long walks. She exhibits all the true personality traits of a husky, but just doesn't have the pure husky looks. She recently had surgery to remove a large, benign lypoma (fatty cyst) on her side. She is fully recovered and doing well now. She seems fine with other dogs, but is not a fan of cats...so should never be trusted around them. She will be a great personal friend and companion for some lucky human !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Charlottesville Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlottesville, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Charlottesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlottesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlottesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlottesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
