Cooper was found in the parking lot of a store next to a busy street. The kind soul who found him brought him to us and we took him to the vet to scan for a microchip. Sadly, Cooper had one, but his former owner did not want him back. He had been bouncing around in 2 different homes and one shelter. This tale of woe has a happy end – and it begins with you!

Cooper, is a sweet very cute and smart little guy! Cooper is a cuddler and a lapdog. He’d be great for those who work from home as he’ll keep you company snuggled up right next to you! He is a young boy at just around 1-year old and loves to play with toys, dogs, and cats! He walks well on a leash; rides well in the car, and is such a lover! Cooper is a small dog at 14 pounds of pure love, and being a Chihuahua mix, he does like to talk to you, especially if he wants your attention!

Cooper is healthy and current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm/flea prevention.

Cooper is waiting on you for his happily ever after, what are you waiting for? Call A Welcome Home Animal Rescue at 678-626-7457! Local Adoptions Only!

About A Wecome Home Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

Our Adoption Process...

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.
