His foster writes: I heard you were looking for someone really special who will love and appreciate you, ohÂ…me too. Hey girl, I''m Beacker.

I''m a quiet low-key kind of guy with a sensitive side. I like short walks around the neighborhood and long games of fetch in the yard. Have you daydreamed of a dog you could train to do anything? That''s me. I''m actually sort of an intellectual super genius. I love training with my person by my side. That''s right. Great looking, sensitive, snuggly, smart, athletic, and loyal for life. I''m just looking for the right partner to devote myself to.

You should know that I''m housebroken and crate trained. I''ve got a bunch of cues under my belt like: drop it, sit, stay, down, find it, lets go. My leash manners are pretty lovely. I enjoy a structured schedule with vigorous play/exercise, some training then lots of snuggling each day.

Beacker is making everyone swoon in his foster home and waiting in a perfect sit/stay for his forever person. If you think you would appreciate a dog like Beaker, have a quiet home, and an interest to participate in the training and exercise that an intelligent athletic adolescent needs to reach his potential, please contact fosters@nycacc.org. You could be a miracle for this truly exceptional young dog!
