Lily's Story...
GEMI and her sister, LILY, are 2-year old, beautifully marked calicos with patches of both tabby and tortie mixed in. GEMI is a Chimera - meaning her face is a perfect half & half, a dividing line running right down the middle of her cute nose! (LILY almost is Chimera, but she has a thin white stripe between her two colors!) Soft, thick coats and very sweet, these girls have lost their owner and are hoping to find their furrever home SOON! They have always been together, but they could be separated as they're both calm and well behaved. Of course, it would be nice to have them be adopted together, but it isn't essential.

This is a Courtesy Listing -- these cats are NOT at the Sanctuary. Please contact Foster Mom MARSHA at 724-875-3063 for more information and to meet these two stunning sisters. One or both could steal your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Delmont Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Delmont, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Delmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
