Meet Big Man! He is a 70 lb pitbull that absolutely loves the company of other people or dogs. He will even skip a meal to go play with his pals. He also loves traveling and meeting new people, which is why I think he will adapt to a new home in no time. He knows how to sit and lay down on command and also picked up our invisible fence system the first day. He gets extremely nervous in a crate/kennel unless he has another dog crated next to him. Big Man is so sweet and intelligent. He is going to make someone very happy as their pet. He is also up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped, and negative for heartworm. If interested, please contact Alicia at amdanenhower@gmail.com. Thank you!

About PetPromise, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.

PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Please visit our events page at http://petpromise.org/events to find upcoming adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

PetPromise volunteers do their best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

If you are interested in adopting a particular pet, please complete an online adoption application at http://petpromise.org/adoption-application. We conduct reference checks and require a home visit before any adoption. The adoption fee varies by pet.
