Bennie has all the good of a great dog - affectionate, loving, kind, loves kids, adores other dogs to no end, and is soft and silky and sweet. He weighs about 16 lbs and is probably 1 1/2 to 2. He came from deplorable conditions and had no hair and now all his beautiful non-shedding fluff is back!
He is learning and it's clear that his humans made him beg for human food and he is breaking that habit. He has learned "stay" and "sit" and is eager to please you. He is very food motivated and loves being rewarded.
He is so stunning. He looks all schnauzer but for longer legs and a fox terrier longer jaw. Handsome blend.
In his foster home, he plays hard with our other two dogs, both little, and they have a hoot of a time, endless love and fun. It's very cool to see, but get out of the way or they'll tumbleweed past you!
He also has the schnauzer characteristic of barking when people come to the door. A hard habit to break in that breed so we put him in the other room and then answer the door.
Bennie is young and needs toys to chew on or he will find a good slipper.
He is updated on all shots and neutered and his adopt fee is $495. We are solely non-profit and the fee covers the medical put into him to prepare him for a great home.
