Meet the one and only KERA! Kera has all the amazing qualities of an established hunting dog; she's intelligent, feeds off her human's emotions, and has incredible instinct, yet has a gentle and sweet nature to make her a great family member. This beautiful girl stands at 21 inches at the shoulder, is approximately 50 pounds and her age is estimated to be around 3-4 years old. Kera loves all people, from kids to elderly, and gets along well with other dogs. Due to her prey drive she would do best in a home without cats.
Kera would love a house with a yard, where she can spend hours clearing the land of squirrels, moles, and other little creatures. Kera is past that puppy stage where she destroys things, or jumps on people for attention. Kera was once loved and trained to be the exceptional dog that she is, but was owner surrendered by no fault of her own. She has no idea why she has spent the last 4 months in a cold shelter, but she does know that she has a lot of life to life, a ton of love stored up to give to somebody, and so many kisses to bestow on whoever saves her!
She is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. She has been living in a kennel environment, so she will need a house training refresher course. If you are interested in giving Kera a forever home, please fill out our online application at charliescrusaders.org.
