My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(ID #A28145396) This amazing dog is Rena!

Rena is a sweet girl that first came to the shelter as a stray. That means that we know nothing about her past. She is very friendly and seems to get along with other dogs. She was adopted but was again picked up as a stray. Her family never came to claim her. So here she is, once again sitting in a kennel waiting for a loving family to discover her and her sweet disposition.

At least here at the shelter her basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over her head. However, she is longing to find her forever home and a family to love. She has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for her?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with her.

Rena is a two year old Hound/Staffordshire mix. She is a young lady at heart and has been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. She has received a set of preventative shots and has been wormed and microchipped.

She is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt her. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.

You can contact her friend, Lori by emailing laking@cinci.rr.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.

See you soon, RENA
