GIZMO's Story...
This little guy is so ugly he’s cute…with his little tufts of hair and his big ears. He’s so sweet and he loves everyone, especially children. He was a big hit at the vet clinic…running around greeting everyone…pets and people alike. He is also pretty fond of being on the receiving end of attention…being petted, hugged and kissed on. He is pretty active but he does have his quiet moments from time to time. I would say he is more on the submissive side too, so he gets along well with the other dogs and cats. Gizmo will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. He was born on 11/10/15, making him 8 ½ months old and he weighs about 10 pounds at the time of this posting (7/27/16). He has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, wormed and is on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Gizmo is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GIZMO, a Newburgh Pomeranian/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
