  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Ragner is a small dog who is looking for a fun, loving family to call his own. He may be small, but has a huge personality, he's a goofy guy who makes his foster family laugh everyday! He likes being close to you, but also loves his crate. Ragner is very loving, affectionate, and likes to play with his toys. Ragnar is somewhat unsure about meeting new people and other dogs, however, he is curious at the same time and once he gets to know them he loves to spend time with them! He can still use some training on a leash, but he currently walks amazing with his special collar. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Ragner is also good around children, and enjoys the play buddy! He would love to go on nice walks, backyard romps, and maybe even agility if you would love to learn something new together! He has been waiting for his perfect home, could it be with you?

About Rocky Road Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goals are to rescue dogs from high kill shelters, northern dogs, and compassionate owner surrenders, and provide them with the medical care they deserve, as well as find them the best loving forever homes. We are also committed to educating the public on positive pet ownership, and to give back to the community through assisting families in need whenever possible.

Rocky Road Rescue is a volunteer-based organization that is 100% foster based. As a result of our dedicated foster families, all of our dogs live in a family environment. We raise funds through events and fundraisers, which allow us to continue to rescue dogs in need. One hundred percent of these funds go towards the purchase of food, vetting costs, shelter pull fees, and other costs associated with the general operation of the rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at pet stores in the Ottawa area regularly.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $400 for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies. This includes all age appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption, as well as spay or neuter when it is appropriate for the age (even after adoption in the case of puppies). We do require references and an application to be filled out for each adoption. We do not work on "payment plans".
