Ragnar is a medium sized dog who is also currently underweight but is in good health. He likes being close to you and sleep beside your head. Ragnar is very loving, affectionate, and likes to play. Ragnar is somewhat unsure about meeting new people and other dogs however, he is curious at the same time. He can still use some training on a leash.
They are both good around children. They love each other very much. They play and clean each other. I have been told by neighbor they they bark and cry when people are not present, but that behavior can be corrected. They were both recently seen at the vet and have been neutered. They both seem to be doing well when it come to going to the bathroom outside. Whoever adopts these guys will be very fortunate as these dogs are two of the most loving fur babies I have ever met.

About Rocky Road Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goals are to rescue dogs from high kill shelters, northern dogs and compassionate owner surrenders with the medical care they deserve and to find them the best loving forever homes. We are also committed to educating the public on positive pet ownership and to give back to the community through assisting families in need whenever possible.

Rocky Road Rescue is a volunteer-based organization which is 100% foster based. As a result of our dedicated foster families, all of our dogs live in a family environment. We raise funds through events and fundraisers. One hundred percent of these funds go towards the purchase of food, vetting costs, shelter pull fees and other costs associated with the general operation of the rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at pet stores in the Ottawa area regularly.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $400 for Adult dogs, and $500 for puppies. This includes all age appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption, as well as spay or neuter when it is appropriate for the age (even after adoption in the case of puppies). We do require references and an application to be filled out for each adoption. We do not work on "payment plans".
