Boo Bear is one of Tucson Cold Wet Noses wonderful seniors.
Who is looking for a wonderful forever family.
At 11 yrs old poor sweet Boo Bear found himself alone in a shelter.
He was very sad and uncomfortable there, so Cold Wet Noses rescued him.
Senior dogs are often overlooked just because of their age, when part of
what makes them such great dogs is that they are mature and past a lot of
that young dog behavior and training stuff that can be difficult to deal with.
Boo Bear is calm, well behaved, won't be chewing up your shoes or ripping
down your blinds when he is left alone, and needs little exercise - just
some leisurely walks.
He is content to just hang out with you soaking up attention.
He is 100% housebroken and has no problem going all day (9 hrs or more)
locked in the house and he has learned to use a doggy door, though he seems
to prefer using the human door.
Boo Bear is every bit as comfortable with the 8 and 9 year old human boys
in his foster home as he is adults and he seems to have no male or female
person preference either. Boo loves everyone who will love him. In his foster
home he is living with 3 very large adult dogs and a Chihuahua and gets along
with all. I think he would be great as an only dog or with other dogs, as long as
the other dogs are not the pestering type. Boo like to just chill out,
not romp and play.
I don't know how he is with cats, but I really feel he would pay them no mind.
Boo Bear is a really good boy who is no trouble at all and just wants a home
where he will be loved and can be in the company of his family.
He is primarily an indoor dog and chooses to spend most of his time inside.
If you are looking for a watchdog, this isn't your guy. I have only heard him
bark a few times and it was barely audible and only used to tell the giant,
annoying youngfemale dog in his foster home.
'I told you, I don't want to play!'. If you live in an apartment, have close
neighbors, or just hate barking, you want a dog like Boo. You want the company
of a sweet, cuddly, lovable dog, but not the trouble of potty training, teaching
him not to chew your chews, worrying if his barking is disturbing the neighbors
while you are gone? Boo Bear might be the perfect new addition to your family.
He is such a calm, sweet soul.
Boo is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and just had a dental.
He is ready for a forever home of his own.
