My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good day! My name is Stella and I am between 3 and 4 years old. I am very playful, intelligent, and I LOVE car rides! I am very sweet and will make an excellent companion. Like many rescue dogs, I had a rocky start to my life so I am still working on trusting people immediately. I really enjoy being outside, and am a real dogs dog. I am a little too interested in cats and farm animals so I would do better in a home without them. I know I am picky…but I also know there is the right family out there for me to spend the rest of my life with! Are you that family?

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend!
First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, March 31st at Petland in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be hosting open houses at their adoption center in Southbury, CT on Saturday, April 1st from 10am-2pm and then again on Sunday, April 2nd from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn, MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn, MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
