From the Foster: Are you sure this pup is from Kentucky? Because he is one Major. Hunk. Oh. Burning. Love! As I type this, I am watching him try to curl up in a tiny ball and position his big body on the world's tiniest beanbag. Kane is a giant goofball with nothing but love to give to his forever family, that is for sure. He definitely has all the basics down: basic commands, house-trained, crate-trained, etc. He could probably stand to lose about 5 pounds or so, but shouldn't be a problem for an athletic, energetic dog like this. He absolutely LOVES romping, playing and just spending time with you, and he is so in tuned to humans and wants to please, just looks at you with his eyes asking you what you want from him! The perfect forever family for Kane will be willing and able to spend lots of time loving him (he has a lot to give!) and continue with his obedience training to make sure that he minds his manners. He is amazingly athletic for a dog his size and regular exercise is very important for his well-being, I think. Continued socialization will allow him to continue to blossom into the adorable dog he is meant to be. Kane would not do well in an apartment setting, and I can't consider applications that are in an apartment. Love this boy, truly.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
