Adoption fee is $150, this dog is 3.5 yrs old and overweight and 17.8 pounds, should be about 15 lbs. Her DOB is 9-28-12
Piper is a Mini Aussie type mix.
This little girl left us in 2013 and landed herself in a city pound. Her adopter had failed her, but thankfully her microchip brought her back to us. It turned out after intake she had a wound hiding under her fluffy fur where she had suffered some sort of injury, a suspected dog bite that cause a patch of skin to die in 2 spots on her. She had to have her hind quarters shaved and the wound cleaned up. She is pretty much healed up from all of that but will look silly for awhile with her shaved hind end and a scar spot that dropped hair when she lost her winter coat.
She is a very sweet and loving but a little bit of a quirky girl. She is very excited to see you and runs up to you. Not sure what she has been through since she had left us but at times she is hand shy and will yelp when you go to touch her.. Other times, most of the time she is happy and wiggly butt and outgoing.
She just needs some one with a little patience as she adjust to a new home and a new person. She is crate trained as well as housetrained, and does fine with the other pets here.
She can be VERY vocal and is very active.
