WALTER's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

WALTER's Story...
COMING SOON: This handsome fellow is Walter, a two-year-old English Mastiff whose family has asked our help in rehoming him. No fault of Walter's; they're expecting a new baby and simply have too much on their plate.

One of these pictures is from his "baby book" (and, admittedly, he was only this size for about an hour ). He has grown into a gorgeous, healthy mush who is ready to steal hearts.

Walter's vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and housetrained. He'll be neutered and microchipped before long and then will be ready to make some lucky family's home complete.

Walter walks reasonably well on leash with a harness. He gets along with SOME other (female) dogs) though we are seeking an only dog placement for Walter.. He has not been cat-tested. He'll need a traditional six-foot fenced yard. His favorite place is in the nearest easy chair. He loves to play with a giant-sized Kong toy and with his basketball. Alas, he's afraid of his metal water bowl (what a wuss) and the basement. Kids should be at least 6 or 7 years old.

Don't dawdle. Walter is anxious to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WALTER, a Sudbury English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Mastiff for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a English Mastiff dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Mastiff breeders who help with English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
