Daisy Mae's Story...

dob: 9/24/13.. Rescued from an unwanted/neglect situation in Rutherford County, NC

PET THERAPY DOG IN WAITING, JUST NEEDS LOVING, RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHO IS DEVOTED TO GIVING OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR TIME TO THOSE IN NEED OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND WET KISSES AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS, CANCER CENTERS and/or NURSING HOME.

This sweet girl should be able to pass 'pet therapy' certification with flying colors, easily!

Past owner rescued Maizie Mae from the streets and then found herself homeless so asked Howlin4Spirit to help find a wonderful fur-ever home/family for this amazing little girl.

weighing in at a whopping 14.2lbs, this SUPER SWEET little girl is an absolute doll-baby!

Friendly, outgoing, LOVES little girls, other dogs and cats and people in general. Great on-leash, 95% housebroken(past owner went on 'binges' and neglected Maizie's needs, at the very end, but now foster mom has her back in the swing of good house manners), sweet, loving nature, gentle demeanor and LOOKING for someone who is looking for a pet therapy dog for visits to children's hospitals and nursing homes.  whom Maizie can love fur-ever!

FOSTER MOM'S DESCRIPTION:  Daisy Mae is 14 lbs of sheer joy, whose whole purpose in life is to please you, love you, snuggle with you,  and act the clown to make you smile on even your worst day….that’s right….it’s her gift and she does it to perfection!

This little girl has never met a stranger, she gravitates toward people and wins you over in seconds….she wants nothing more than to spend every moment with you, wiether working in the garden, curled up with a book or watching TV.   She lights up when she sees children, and could be a serious contender as a Therapy Dog as her manners are impecable .

She is crate trained and willingly kennels up of an evening and you won’t hear a peep out of her, she would of course, prefer to sleep in the bed, and has done so many times, much to the disgust of her foster kittie-kat sisters and brothers .   She also shares space with an extra large German Shepherd and a badly behaved terrier…..she takes it all in stride and enjoys being part of a large fur family.

If you think you are the person to take Daisy to the next level and let her reach her full potential, and be loved to the max in the meantime, please submit an application.

To apply to adopt, please go to www.howlin4spirit/adoption-application/...copy and paste the application in to a new email, complete ALL questions thoroughly and send to: howlin4spirit@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Williston Park Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon for sale in Williston Park, or seeking a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon dog from a breeder in Williston Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon breeders who help with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
