♪♪Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue - Oh, how my heart yearns for you!♪♪

This girl must have been who Buddy Holly had in mind when he wrote that song. Meet Peggy Sue - this happy, hoppy, sweet loving girl certainly doesn’t act her age. This 8 year old still plays with toys and is just happy and bouncy when playing.

This girl does well around other dogs but is also good on her own so a solitary dog would not be an issue for her. She did well at the dog park but preferred to walk around meeting people than the other dogs. Although she has been around children and did fine, we don’t think she would enjoy playing with children so we suggest older children if there are any that will understand.

Foster Mom is working on her leash manners and she is coming along well. She is housebroken and uses the doggy door. This special girl is just looking a special person to call her own. Are you that special person? If you think you are, please  fill out Suncoast Basset Rescue's application HERE (or visit the link below) to schedule your meet & greet.
