THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING A RESCUE DOG - PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE FEED TO ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS. PLEASE REVIEW/ READ ALL INFO PROVIDED. THIS IS TO SAVE TIME FOR EVERYONE AND NEEDLESS INQUIRIES WHEN ALL THE ANSWERS ARE PROVIDED.

WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- These 2 girls were dumped on Kijiji as no longer needed for breeding. Their health , care give was minimal. They were taken in by rescue.


WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- They are learning what real life is in foster care


** ALL ABOUT PRIA AND MAGGIE
Maggie is black and is 8
Pria is white and is 6

They were sold on kijiji as retiring stock
- no vaccines, no spay, no dental and Pria was peeing constantly

Pria is now vet checked and ultrasounded
She has a large struvite crystal in her kidney
She is on a proper diet and meds for dissolving it
This can take 12 weeks
She was to be spayed and get her dental and vaccines then
Now we have to wait and see if the crystal dissolves or needs surgically removed

Pria and Maggie were from a breeder who was selling them off on kijiji
to make way for her new breed - PomSki's - Pomeranian/Husky
She did not provide any medical care for them and required $100 each to
liberate them from the breeding facility

Pria was leaking urine and going often and we soon discovered she has a
large kidney stone when we did an ultrasound and urine culture
She is on meds anf special food for the next 12 weeks
To date the bills are over $600

Maggie and Pria both need dental work and spay, vaccines, deworm, and
microchip, as well as boosters _ they are booked for October
The adoption fee per dog foes not cover the cost of the vetting
We are looking for a home that will provided proper medical care and
food to prevent the kidney stone from redeveloping

Maggie is set for dental and spay in late September

The cost to date for vetting is over $600 and none of the basics have been done
She is looking for a home with someone that will not subject her to further neglect and provide a proper diet
They are very loving and said to be a bonded pair so we do prefer they stay together

The adoption fee per dog is $500 to offset some of the costs for the regular vetting

(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.

1. We require a fully filled app to be considered as a possible home
2. Only the approved app will be premitted a viewing with the pet ** in the foster home **
3. ALL family members MUST meet the dog ** in the foser home** .
4. Any exsisting pets MUST attend the meet/ greet with the dog ** at the foster home ** .
5. A home visit must be completed as part of the adoption process after the inital viewing by a rescue representative.
This is not a replacement of the meet/ greet at the Foster home.
6. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO .
7. We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the
foster home
