Gracie's Story...
GRACIE has deep, soulful eyes and a beautiful snowy white coat. At 5 years old and a petite 5 pounds, sweet GRACIE was passed by at the shelter from which she was pulled, but ACR looked at her and saw the beauty within as well as out! GRACIE is a true delight! Keeping you in sight whenever possible, she is truly a snuggle bug. Curious, a little silly and a lot ready to get a home with Furever on a plaque by the door. GRACIE also gets along with dogs, cats and chickens, oh my! She will make a welcome addition to your family!

GRACIE is an adoptable Chihuahua in Central Texas through Ay Chihuahua Rescue. For further information, visit www.aychihuahuarescue.org/adopt. For more pictures of GRACIE, visit www.aychihuahuarescue.org/available-dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a AUSTIN Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in AUSTIN, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in AUSTIN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in AUSTIN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a AUSTIN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in AUSTIN paves the way for another one to be saved.
