Special home requirements or medical: a climber, needs secure home. Can climb baby gates and fences.
Additional info: This beautiful boy loves being held and is very sweet and bonds easily to his person. He is gentle, low energy easy going and affectionate. He is not treat or food motivated and not really interested in playing but he loves his walks. He is housebroken, crate trained and has no separation anxiety. He's good with other dogs in and out of the home He can be fearful of people who move or run too quickly so he should be on a short leash around joggers, kids etc. He is very clingy and can get into a little fear biting and resource guarding with other people who might want to interact with his person. We have been working with him on this issue and he is responding very well. He is very smart and if he understands that his person doesn't like a particular behavior he will respond. We do not recommend him for a home with kids, although he can be sweet with dog-savvy older kids. His temporary foster mom and dad called him "A dream come true". Auto is a total lovebug ready for his forever home.
