Special home requirements or medical: a climber, needs secure home. Can climb baby gates and fences.
Additional info: This beautiful boy loves being held and is a really sweet boy. He's good with other dogs in and out of the home and bonds easily and strongly with his person. He is very clingy to his person and can get into a little fear biting and resource guarding with other people who might want to interact with his person. We have been working with him on this issue and he is responding well. He is very smart and if he understands that his person doesn't like a particular behavior he will respond. The resource guarding is an issue which usually responds well to confidence building training and we are assisting his foster mom in working with this. For the time being, though, we do not recommend him for a home with kids, although he can be sweet with dog-savvy kids. He is not good with strange men and might lunge at them if he is surprised while on the leash. All in all, Auto is a total love bug who is ready for his forever home.
