Lynx-point Siamese mix Fu, born in 2013, and his best friend, black and white domestic medium hair Pepe, born in 2011, find themselves in the precarious position of needing to find a new home because their human companion died. As you can see by their snuggling together in the photo, these fellas are strongly bonded to each other and really need to be adopted together.
But thee frisky boys are no couch potatoes! They each love to sneak up and pounce on the other one when least expected! Yet they love their one-on-one time with their humans, and seem to crave getting scratched and rubbed in their favorite "sweet spots." Both can be lap cats in their own right.
Fu was adopted as a kitten from a local shelter. He is beautifully marked with lynx (tabby) points and has mesmerizing blue eyes. He is a playful, charismatic cat who absolutely loves belly rubs. He likes to run ahead of you, throw himself down on the floor, and stretch out on his back, and then he fully expects you to stop what you are doing to rub his belly. Fu also loves to play “soccer” by chasing paper wads and batting them around. He is shy at first, but when he gets to know you, he will curl up next to you on the couch. When he starts purring, it sounds like an engine is running!
Pepe was adopted as a stray when he was about one year old because he kept coming every day to the back patio to get petted and loved on. This handsome boy has stunning markings that look like wide white bands on black, and his piercing green eyes will take your breath away. Pepe is a very intelligent and loyal cat. Whenever you sit down, expect him to be in your lap shortly thereafter. He loves ear and chin rubs and will force his head under your hand so you can be sure and rub those ears! He's playful too and loves hunting for toys that he's probably hidden himself.
These loveable and loving guys would make a wonderful pair for a family who will cherish them like their former human companion did. Won't you open your heart and home to them? They will more than repay you with their entertaining antics and probably lower your blood pressure while they're at it.
Fu and Pepe are updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, will be microchipped prior to adoption, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. Their joint adoption fee is $150 for the pair, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
