Looking for a dog to go on adventures? Pepper is the dog for you! Looking for a dog to lounge around the house? Pepper fits the bill! She is fun loving, but can also chill with the best of them. Pepper loves to go on walks, meet new people, play with toys and learn new things. She is also perfectly content with just relaxing around the house, cuddling and watching some TV. Her fosters say she can be a bit of a loner but she also does wonderful with other dogs. Because Pepper loves to explore she can escape most fences. We require a 6 ft privacy fence or leash walking for Pepper. Pepper is a 2 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is about 55 pounds.

About Dogs by Debin

About Our Rescue Group...

We were developed based on the fact that there is a gap in the system here locally. The shelters that are open-intake, although they are doing the best they can, they can only do so much. Those shelters are also very stressful to the dogs & this is where we step in. You can consider our place a half-way home for dogs if you will. We allow the dogs to be dogs again, offering them behavioral modification, land to run on, playgroups & necessary vet care. With this being said, our adoption rate is sometimes slowed due to the fact the dog(s) may not be ready for adoption right away. We set our dogs up for success & match them with the right family. Our final goal is to have the adoptions last the dog's lifetime.

Our #1 goal though is to have a dog stay in their current home, should it be safe. We offer counseling & resources to do our best to make this happen. When it's not possible, they may safely surrender the dog to us, provided we have space.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come in and meet our dogs anytime during normal business hours. Our hours of operation can be found on our website at www.DogsbyDebin.com.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a Adoption Application located on our website at www.DogsbyDebin.com under the Applications tab. Each potential adopter is required to fill out.

After the Adoption Application is reviewed, and requirements are verified, Dogs by Debin will contact adopter, and if eligible, appointment will be made to come in and meet our dogs.

We try and list our adoption fees when posting our dogs. All of our adoption fees include: Age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, tested for heart worm (if positive, we treat them), and a free training session with our local trainer. If the adoption is a puppy, the training session will be at 4mths or older.
