Carson's Story...
Please go to our website and fill out an application
www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Carson is a 2 to 3 year old foxhound that suffered severe neglect at the hands of his first owner. Despite this he is a happy, social, playful boy that loves all people and dogs. He loves to play so having another dog or a very active family is a must. Carson weighs about 50 lbs and is up to date on all shots and neutered. Can you give this precious boy the happy life he so deserves?

Our adoption fee $250.00 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carson, a Charlotte Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
