Perdita (Perdie)'s Story...
After two months, Perdie (estimated to be 3 years of age) has begun to shine in her foster home as a sweet little girl. She is getting healthy and was recently spayed and is looking much better than when she was found. In her foster home, she understands the pack mentality and waits patiently for her food and takes biscuits nicely. Perdie has a clue about potty training as well as other commands and chewing on bones. She loves to run in the yard and has frequently been the "rabbit" in a game of race and chase. Perdie is a bit bigger due to her mix with possibly hound. Perdie is recommended to be adopted to someone with multiple dogs (although she is still determining her space and who should be around her) and a fenced yard (her hound mix may make her break through any underground fence.) Perdie will be better with older children as she is still fearful of being grabbed and a bit aloof and has not been tested with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perdita (Perdie), a Blue Bell Jack Russell Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
