Hi! I'm Darcy! I was just saved from a high kill shelter on the day that I was to be put down! I'm now looking for my new, true, forever home! Yes, I'm a vision and a miracle! I love everyone I meet and would make a GREAT therapy dog! I'm approx. 1-2 years old and approx. 30 pounds(7/27). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger. I'm great with kids, cats and other dogs. I'm highly intelligent and mind well inside and out. I'm house and leash trained. I stay off furniture and sleep beside my foster's bed. I'm not a barker. I have a gentle, submissive, happy and fun temperament. I really enjoy being petted and loved on, as you'll see in my video. The more love I get, the better! I have a medium energy level. I stay in the yard and don't venture far from the house. All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada.
