Darcy(30 lb) Therapy Dog!'s Story...
Hi! I'm Darcy! I was just saved from a high kill shelter on the day that I was to be put down! I'm now looking for my new, true, forever home! Yes, I'm a vision and a miracle! I love everyone I meet and would make a GREAT therapy dog! I'm approx. 1-2 years old and approx. 30 pounds(7/27). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger. I'm great with kids, cats and other dogs. I'm highly intelligent and mind well inside and out. I'm house and leash trained. I stay off furniture and sleep beside my foster's bed. I'm not a barker. I have a gentle, submissive, happy and fun temperament. I really enjoy being petted and loved on, as you'll see in my video. The more love I get, the better! I have a medium energy level. I stay in the yard and don't venture far from the house. If you're looking for the perfect family pet and-or a therapy dog then look no further! I'm your girl! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! Belly rubs are a must!

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Sand Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
