Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dorothy! This adorable little Shepherd mix was rescued from a shelter by The Pet Rescue Center when she came in as a stray and no one came to claim her. Being only about 8 months old, she has quite the silly little puppy personality. Bouncing around and loving everyone that she meets. She also won't pass up a good belly rub if you have the time to give her one. She is a medium sized girl, only about 36lbs right now, but she will grow a little bit more. Dorothy is very well behaved but could benefit from some basic training to get her on the right track with her new family. Contact us if you would like to meet her!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
