Tiger's Story...
Tiger #14-686. Arrived 11/25/2014, at 4 years old.
Tiger is just waiting for the right family to find him. Tiger is a really sweet and friendly dog that is a calm and intelligent guy. He has been fed several meals a day to help him put on some weight from the thin state that he came in at. Tiger is making lots of friends at the shelter but would really love a family to call his own. Tiger is smart and knows some of his basic obedience already but would love to learn more. Tiger needs a home where he will do better with toys that keep his mind busy, because the soft fluffy ones are just too fun to destroy. Any toy with a squeaker is out of the question. Tiger is the master of desqueaking!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
