Bear's Story...
Bear is a happy, laid back puppy born around May 23 who doesn't get too get too excited about anything. He loves being held on someone's lap and will go to sleep there, soaking up the love. He is great with children and cats. He is crate trained, but needs his crate in a cool spot as he gets too warm at night. He plays with his brother and the other dogs in his foster home. His easy going nature will make him a great family pet or a loving companion. Bear will be a medium sized dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
