Gizmo's Story...
Gizmo #15-65. Arrived 2/4/2015 at 2 years old.
Gizmo is known here as the class Clown. Gizmo has shown good behavior in meeting kids at the shelter, but would be recommended to be in a home with older kids. Gizmo has a medium to high energy level.Gizmo is the kind of guy who will blossom when he gets to experience lots of walks and exercise, he loves his walks. After he has been exercised he would be guaranteed to be a couch potato. Gizmo loves nothing more then to be loved, he is very affectionate. Gizmo is dog savvy and would be a good companion to the right match for him. Gizmo will slide to the ground as soon as you show him some affection and as he melts he will offer his belly for a rub. Gizmo has learned his basic obedience commands, and especially loves to show them off for treat rewards. Treats are the way to his heart, and once you have that, you can accomplish anything! Gizmo needs the chance to unwind when he first exits the building, but once he has burned off that energy, he is all ears.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
