Bubba's Story...
Bubba Boo Boo #15-172. Arrived 3/26/2015 at 1-2 years old.
Bubba came in to us as a stray that had been hit by a car. He had quite a bit of road rash at the time and while it has all healed, it has left him with some scars. Bubba is an exuberant dog, lots of energy, but settles well once exercised. Bubba loves to carry his soft toys around in his mouth like a security blanket. He also likes to push his toys through the fence and share them with the other dogs at the shelter. Bubba will need some training to keep up his manners and skills to walk politely on leash, but he has a very good start from staff and volunteers at the shelter. Bubba loves to be touching with his humans when he settles; be it cuddling on our couch or sitting on the bench outside. Bubba is sure to keep you laughing, his joy for life and athleticism when running around with his toys will keep you on your toes!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a West Babylon American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
