Sammie's Story...
Sammy #15-598. Arrived 10/6/2015 at 3-4 years old.
Sammy is a girl in need; she needs a forever home. Sammy tested positive for Heartworm, and she has been treated for it. Sammy will show you how much fun she is when she gets to turn loose! Sammy likes to fetch her toys and run some zoomy laps around the yard. Once she has gotten that out of her system, she settles nicely. Come on down and meet Sammy, she made need a little diet in her future, but with a home where she will get lots of exercise, those pounds will melt away.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
