My name is Frisco, and I am a dark brown tiger tabby GIRL. My foster dad thinks that Frisco is a boy's name, but my foster mom says that it's ok for me to be Frisco, so I am!

I am a sweet girl, but I am a little shy until I get to know you. I am not usually able to warm up to people on an initial meeting, so I need a family who trusts that they can give me the love needed to bring me out of my shell.  Then I am super friendly! I like to be with my family, and when I get separated, I get a little scared, and cry until my mom helps me find everybody. Then I'm ok again!
I like to play kitten games, but my brothers and sister usually hog all the good toys, so I have to wait a little while before I get to play.
I have had my surgery, and I had my shots. I also have a microchip so I won't get lost. I'm a good girl, and use the litter box just like I'm supposed to, and I only scratch on the scratching post. I like dry and moist food.
I'm used to being with other cats, and dogs are ok, although I don't like the slobbery, bouncy ones. But I would really like to be the only kitten in my forever home, so I don't have to share my family. If you would like to meet me, apply online at

About OutPaws

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 2013 as a 501 c3 nonprofit in Denver, Colorado, OutPaws grew out of a dream to create an animal rescue organization that reflects Denver and Colorado’s young and vibrant ethos and that lives by the creed that there is no such thing as a bad dog or cat.

We believe that our pets rescue us as much as we rescue them, no matter if they are homeless or shelter animals that have been deemed “unadoptable.” We pride ourselves on being champions of the “underdogs,” and we know that with a little patience and love, mixed with proper care and training, these animals can make wonderful, loving companions. Whether placing pets in foster homes or forever homes, our role as “matchmaker” is one we take seriously. We hope to reach those who are lifelong pet owners as well as those who are looking for their first rescue with the goal of creating and nurturing bonds that last a lifetime.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because our animals are all in foster homes, meetings are scheduled individually. We also bring our dogs to many local adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you complete an online Adoption Application at, naming either one or a few of our Available Animals or providing a description of the type of animal you hope to adopt. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we do not have time to respond to general inquiries about animals. Completing an application does not restrict you to a specific animal, nor does it obligate you to adopt.

Once we have received your application and determined that you are a good match for the requested animal, we will contact you by email. The foster parent will then contact you to arrange a time for you to meet the animal, at which time you can decide if you would like to complete the adoption.

Once the adoption is approved, you will need to complete our online Adoption Contract and pay the non-refundable adoption fee. This non-tax-deductible fee assists us in continuing to save more homeless pets and may be refunded only if the animal is returned within 14 days due to a health consideration.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on distemper, parvo, parainfluenza and adenovirus, as well as rabies if they are over 6 months of age.
