Caldwell and Cleo are Bonded Buddies. They'll be adopted as a pair.
BIG FAN OF: Playing with wand toys, being with his friend Cleo and looking out the window while perched on his cat tree.
NOT A FAN OF: Loud noises, fast movements and new people and things. Predictability is important to Caldwell.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Caldwell can be pretty shy at first, but he has become more social every day in his foster home. He loves to amuse himself with toys or other things he can find to play with, and he enjoys being petted by his foster family.
OTHER REASONS HE'S SPECIAL: He and Cleo will go home with a large cat tree that has become their "safe place" in their foster home.
DREAM HOME: A calm, quiet home with patient guardians who will give him as much time as he needs to become comfortable. Don't be surprised if he hides at first and keeps tabs on you from afar. He'll be your secret admirer who will eventually be comfortable enough to come out and say hi. He will be a wonderful friend for a kind, understanding family who will enjoy watching him blossom.
These cats are participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway program -- a program designed to give cats a vacation from the shelter and let them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. While vacation is fun, there really is no place like home, so please consider adopting these deserving cats! As part of this program, their adoption fee is just $75 for the pair! To learn more about these cats or schedule a time to meet them, please contact Carol at email@example.com, or Betsy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
