My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gelsey and Misha are a sister and brother pair who would love to stay together, or with their "adoptive" sister Carmen.

Gelsey and Misha were born in mid April 2016, approximately April 10-15. They were born on the property of a kind woman who fed a group of outdoor cats. However, after the woman died, the house and land were sold to developers, so all the cats on the property lost the only home they knew.

Gelsey, Misha, sister Misty, and Mom Emerald were rescued by PAWS volunteers who brought them into foster care at the end of April.

Gelsey and Misha are both DSH mostly white kittens with a few large black spots on their backs. Gelsey has 4 black spots on her back, and Misha has one. In addition, Gelsey has 2 black swooshes on her forehead above each eye, while Misha just has one above his right eye. Their tails are also primarily black.

Gelsey is still a bit timid, especially in new situations or when meeting new people. Misha is a bit more confident than Gelsey, but still a little hesitant in new circumstances.

Gelsey survived a scare with a serious illness (mycoplasmosis), and may always be a little "delicate" and will need to be treated like the princess that she is! It will be important that Gelsey not be stressed by unnecessary surgeries or other stressors. Gelsey would do well in a home with her brother Misha or "sister" Carmen.

Misha is more rough and tumble than Gelsey. He is the food bully of the group, and hasn't met a bowl of wet food that he didn't finish! Misha is more confident than Gelsey, and it would be ideal if they can spend the rest of their days together. Misha tends to be Gelsey's protector, or maybe it's just that he likes to steal her food!

Gelsey, Misha, and Carmen are available for adoption now. They have been spayed/neutered, received two of their FVRCP vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, and have tested negative for both Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

If interested, please complete an application at www.pawsohio.org, which you will easily locate under the Adoption button.
