My story

Nathan #I6-51. Arrived 2/6/2016 at I 1/2-2 years old
Hi! My name is Nathan and I was brought to the shelter when the
police found me alone in the basement of a boarded up house. I
am a very sweet, 3 year old boy but am a bit lost at the shelter I
tend to gravitate to people with calm energy and benefit greatly
from long walks & playtime I get so happy to see my people, I can
get carried away with excitement!! (Oops! Can you blame me??!)

I love to play ball, take long walks, show off all my commands
that I have been working on so hard, but most of all ... I LOVE
TO SWIM!! I have so much potential to be someone's lifelong
companion, I just need a chance. See, there are SO many dogs
at the shelter and I seem to blend in with my brindle coat, even
though I'm SO HANDSOME. I don't know why l’ve been waiting to
find my people for so long.

I'm super smart and eager to please, so I'll do almost anything for
a yummy treat or toy to play with. The mind is a beautiful thing
when put to good use!!

I also LOVE to give hugs and sit on your lap ... even though I'm
not lap dog ... I think I can pretend to be! I would do best in a
home as the only pet, king of the castle, older kids and a yard to
run around in I am so special and deserve a chance to shine! My
shelter friends say I am a perfect gentleman & true gem. Please
come meet me today!
