I’m Shady and I love people. Short, Tall, I love them all! I will give you kisses until you tell me to stop. I just want to show you how much I adore you. I want so badly to be connected to someone who can be my forever family and not have to be worried if I'm going to lose my home. Although I love being a beloved indoor member of the family, I do like to hang outdoors periodically too. I could just lay back and sun myself for a few hours and I'd be totally happy. I'm just trying to work on my tan. While we spend time outside together, let's go on a few walks. I walk nicely on a leash and so our walks will be relaxing and peaceful. I know how important that is to you after a long day.

Don't want to go on a walk? Let's just play! I love to play and can run around and chase you for quite some time. I'd also like for us to have some toys to play with. It will help keep me busy and entertained. On a hot and sunny day, I like to romp around in a kiddie pool or play with the hose. It cools me down and boy, it is a blast!

Although I love people, I don't have very good body awareness and forget my strength sometimes so smaller children aren't a great idea. As for crate training and housetraining.... Well, I'll give you a bit of resistance before I go into the crate but once in there, I accept defeat and behave myself. I am housetrained for the most part, but I forget to tell you I need to go sometimes. As long as you let me out every 4 hours and keep me on a schedule, I won't have accidents. I just have to be reminded.

I'm ready to find that family I can count on to help me excel and that I can depend on to keep me for the rest of my life. If you are going to be that exceptional family, go to http://www.nwboxerrescue.org/#!adoption-form/c1dw9 and get the ball rolling!

About Northwest Boxer Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) believes that every boxer deserves a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. Abandoned or homeless Boxers will always find shelter, medical care, and ultimately a new home through the efforts of NWBR. By working with committed volunteers and local veterinarians we are able to rescue boxers every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them perfect loving forever homes. Working in conjunction with city and county groups, NWBR strives to educate the public and help end animal overpopulation and needless suffering. The commitment to share the love of Boxers is never ending.

We never discriminate on the basis of health or age. Our animals are evaluated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any necessary medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes.
