My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince #16-162. Arrived 4/13/2016 at 1 1/2 years old.
Prince came to us as owner surrender. He has shown us that he is very proficient in play with a variety of toys; balls, squeakers, rope toys, you name it! Prince will sit while he anxiously waits for you to throw the next toy. After he runs out and grabs it, he does several proud laps to show it and the fabulous squeaker off. Prince is a lean athletic type of guy and will do best when he is well exercised and then shown lots of love. Prince’s former owners state that he hasn’t shown food aggression, and that he is accepting of strangers to the home. Prince is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and has been trained to be crated when left alone. Prince was a house dog and he had access to fenced yard which he respected by not trying to escape. Prince has shown his former family that he was frightened of brooms and vacuums and that he was social with other dogs. Prince will need a little bit of training and guidance to understand that not everyone wants him to jump on them, but we know he can master that task!
