Amelia's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Amelia's Story...
Amelia was found very malnourished and starving. She also only had 3/4 of her rear right leg! We don't know how this happened, it was completely healed over, but we guess it was an animal or a trap. She was too weak and skinny (she weighed only 4.10 pounds) for surgery. After several weeks of TLC and lots of good food she finally made it to almost 6 pounds and our vet decided that was her normal. Surgery was done and she has done very well. Amelia may do best as an only kitty, isn't fond of being picked up and isn't a lap cat (probably due to her mistreatment in the past) but she does love sleeping on the bed with you and is a very sweet girl.
Please contact us to arrange a meeting with this special girl!

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application - Click Here. The application will put you in touch with this wonderful cat's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Cincinnati Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
